Let’s get those GOOD GUYS into us <3

Tuesday, October 27th, 2015

The topic of today that seems to be hot on everyone’s tongue.. PROBIOTICS! So let’s get this good guy (& girl!) thing going..

First of all, what are they? And how can we benefit from using them? Probiotics are a friendly bacteria that help the body to restore it’s intestinal tract to a natural, healthy balance. Once taking probiotics, your improved digestion and restored healthy flora will be sure to thank you!! This stuff really is a key element in maintaining good health. After all, it’s those good guys that can balance out & fight off (if needed) the bad guys (bad bacteria).

Rich sources of probiotics are found in store in our Water Kefir, Coconut Kefir, Jun, Kombucha, Coconut Yoghurt, Sauerkraut & Kim Chi as well as a variety of probiotic supplements. If that’s not enough, we also sell Culture Starters for you to make your own! Personally, I loveee Peace, Love & Vegetables range of Sauerkrauts and Kim Chi’s, after trying EVERY flavour, I decided I can’t pick a favourite.. OMG they are THAT good. For daily probiotic maintenance and let’s just say yumminess, add a tablespoon or few to your salad at day or night, mix it in and voila! Your good guy count just went up! If you’re looking for a more therapeutic does of probiotics, come on in and have a chat with Alison and the team to give you the down low, on where to go, when it comes to which probiotic supplement would be best suited for you.

Last but certainly not least, the word probiotic comes from the Greek word pro, meaning “promoting,” and biotic, meaning “life.” So come on down to the Hub where Your Life matters to us and we will point you in the right direction to find those pro-life foods, just waiting here for you. See You Soon! Written with Love, by Jade Watson 🙂
